Krem, losyon, serum, su bazlı ürünler ve bazı gıda ürünlerinde yaygın olarak tercih edilir. Ürünün güvenliğini korur ve raf ömrünü uzatır, önerilen oranlarda cilt için güvenlidir ve çoğu su bazlı formül ile uyumludur. Kullanım oranı genellikle %0.1 – %0.3 arasındadır. Su fazında çözülerek, diğer bileşenler eklenmeden önce formülasyona dahil edilir ve homojen dağılım sağlanacak şekilde karıştırılır. Önerilen konsantrasyonlarda tahrişe neden olmaz.
