Kozmetikte kullanımı: Hafif bir yüzey aktif madde (mild surfactant) olup saç ve cildi nazikçe temizlemek için kullanılır. Şampuanlar, duş jelleri, yüz temizleyicileri ve bebek ürünlerinde yaygındır. Kir ve yağı etkili şekilde uzaklaştırırken cildi kurutmadan ve tahriş etmeden temizler.
Başlıca faydaları: Cilt için naziktir ve düşük tahriş riski taşır. Zengin ve stabil köpük oluşturur. SLS/SLES gibi güçlü yüzey aktif maddelere kıyasla çok daha az tahriş edicidir.
Kullanım oranı: Genellikle ürün tipine bağlı olarak %5 – %15 aralığında kullanılır.
Formülasyona eklenişi: Su fazına ilave edilir ve homojen bir yapı elde edilene kadar karıştırılır.
Uyumluluk: Çoğu yüzey aktif madde, yağ ve nemlendirici bileşenle uyumludur. Hassas ciltler ve çocuklar için uygundur.
